Colour Communication
Please confirm with me early on in the construction process that the colours I am using for your website are acceptable because changing them after I have done image work (logo backgrounds and navigation hyperlink
colours) will lead to additional charges.
Because
of the wide disparity in colour calibration in computer monitors, these
COLOUR CHARTS vary in appearance from screen to screen.
The colour you see on your
monitor is most likely not what someone else sees on theirs.
To come up with a colour palette, I take cues from whatever images you
send me.
If you have other specific ideas for what colours you would like me to use, please refer to the
COLOUR CHARTS
below of the 180 Netscape-Microsoft browser
palette colours and the 16 NAMED COLOURS which are standard colours supported by the
W3C recommendation for HTML
3.2 which was developed by vendors including IBM, Microsoft,
Netscape Communications Corporation, Novell, SoftQuad, Spyglass, and Sun Microsystems.
